Scaffolding and trusses

Last two weeks,we have tacked double top plate on the top plate and put ceiling batten on.
First,we tacked double top plate on external wall framing,2 nails / 400 mm,then we put one edge of ceiling batten in the double top plate,another edge of ceiling batten is on internal wall framing from building's back to the front,the ceiling batten's space is 330 mm. we also put double top plate(short)on internal wall between ceiling batten.

we spent a lot of time on erecting scaffolding last week.I think it's worth.Spending more time,means making it stable and safety for us in the future.We have known Right angle coupling,swiveling coupling,jointer etc scaffolding connector and learned how to erect scaffolding,how to make it firm.

we began to tack trusses last week,about this section,I'll write next week.

Wall framing

We had had two weeks break.We have been continue erecting wall framing and we have finished it this week end.I try to write the process down.

Steps of erecting wall framing:

1.Pre nail frames are delivered on site;
2.Read  the plan of frame's position;
3.Establish building line ;
4.Start with back walls;
5.connecting next wall;Generally from corner;
6.2 nails/600mm;Nail plate with galvanize nail;Flush on outside;Fix bottom temporary;Interior frames temporary connected;Leave bathroom walls free frame connection;Put temporary braces on frames(square building);Put temporary braces on floor(enforce frames);
7.Looking for connecting frame,work to the front;
8.Straightening frames; Level corners at stud's both side,top and bottom plate have to touch;
9.String line on top and bottom plate,checking with 3 blocks(exactly the same thickness);
10.Fix frame permanent except bathroom wall.
